Job Summary 

Our Inside Sales Representatives are focused on selling medical consumables to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). This position is responsible for managing outbound and inbound sales efforts for our consumables, identifying customer needs, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through proactive engagement. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Outbound Sales Calls: Proactively call on hospitals and ASCs to promote Mizuho OSI medical consumables. This requires identifying decision makersqualifying leads, and closing sales and driving adoption of the consumables. 

  • Account Management: Maintain and grow existing accounts by building strong relationships with purchasing managers, materials management, OR staff, and other key decision-makers. 

  • Closely collaborate with Account Managers 

  • Lead Generation: Identify new opportunities through cold calling, market research, CRM tools, and collaboration with the marketing team. 

  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio to effectively communicate features, benefits, and competitive advantages. 

  • Sales Process: Manage the full inside sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through quoting and order closure. 

  • CRM Utilization: Accurately document customer interactions, opportunities, and activities in SalesForce.com 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with field sales reps, customer service, and marketing to ensure seamless customer experience and consistent messaging. 

  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). 

  • Understand, follow, and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures, and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).  

 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Experience: 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in medical devices, supplies, or healthcare B2B environments. 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills; comfortable presenting information over the phone or in virtual meetings. 

  • Customer Focus: Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and deliver value-added solutions. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Salesforce software, Microsoft Office Suite, and video conferencing tools. 

  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience selling into operating rooms, procedural areas, or sterile processing departments. 

  • Understanding of hospital purchasing processes and ASC operations. 

  • Familiarity with GPOs, IDNs, and value analysis committees.

Compensation: $50,000 base salary + monthly and quarterly commission + comprehensive benefits package
