Job Summary

This pivotal role involves crafting our marketing technology stack, streamlining workflows, and building out our internal reporting infrastructure, all of which empower data-driven decision-making. The Digital Marketing and Customer Analytics Manager reports to Marketing Operations Management and is responsible for leading a team of people who will carry out a variety of digital marketing, reporting, and strategic activities.

 

 A key objective of the position is to drive and execute the Company’s digital marketing strategy, optimize  the use of a variety of internal and external data sources including Salesforce and Pardot databases, and ultimately provide insights and recommendations based on data rich findings. A strong background in system architecture, marketing automation, and CRM platforms will greatly assist in the success of this role. The ideal candidate will prioritize robust reporting and be dedicated to maximizing efficiency and effectiveness across our marketing organization. In addition to campaign analytics, this individual’s team will also be responsible for connecting marketing activities back to other metrics, such as KPIs, revenue forecast and trends, and pricing impacts. The overall goal is to utilize these tools to better support customer engagement, nurturing and overall business recommendations that drive our revenue and utilize our marketing dollars in the most effective way. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for delivering insights and results of digital marketing and growth initiatives. Establish best practices on measurement, digital engagement performance and analyses.
  • Own the maintenance and optimization of all relevant components of our marketing tech stack. Suggest and implement evolutions to the tech stack as part of continuous improvement.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies; identify trends to optimize spend and performance.
  • Partner with Content Specialist, internal SMEs, Product Marketing Managers, and external resources and vendors to deploy relevant content across all digital channels to maximize exposure and ROI.
  • Uncover data insights and connections between buyer behavior and intent that optimize campaigns for enhanced marketing results, increased overall lead quality and potentially accelerated marketing funnel velocity.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals.
  • Lead the efforts around full-funnel optimization, considering not just how digital channels can contribute to lead generation, but also the entire customer journey.
  • Create, monitor and share marketing KPIs like impressions, leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement.
  • Analyze customer-specific sales data to aid our understanding of revenue performance.
  • Extrapolate market trends and patterns from data analysis and suggest opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze data on past sales and trends to forecast future trends and state-of-the-art changes.
  • Apply critical thinking and creativity to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Ensure processes and content comply with internal Quality Management System and established regulations and governances.
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Responsible for cleanliness, organization, and overall marketing department appearance.
  • To be willing to train and instruct other members of the department and the company, by passing along skills and information to assist then in their development.
  • Make sound and logical decisions and to choose the appropriate courses of action based on the parameters of the situation at hand and to use continual improvement problem solving skills.
  • Help create an ongoing effort to improve the Company and the Marketing Department through personal action and by contributing ideas to support both the Department and Company’s ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Understand Mizuho OSI’s business objectives and the relationship between the Department and those objectives; to support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements, to maintain the services and quality levels set by Mizuho OSI, and to continually enable Mizuho OSI to be a great place to work.
  • Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Very proficient in both Pardot and Salesforce, Google Analytics, and SEO optimization.
  • Strong understanding of web customer journey and optimized interface.
  • Proven work experience in digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to execute to a defined budget and manage within the budget.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to learn new processes quickly.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities, and ability to maintain good working relationships while dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters and with a wide variety of personal contacts.
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented, and the ability to meet deadlines and deliver on commitments.
  • Ability to display positive teamwork across business functions and interdepartmentally. A high level of collaboration and communication is essential in the team environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately up to 10% of the time domestically in the United States and possibly internationally.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage contract labor effectively.
  • Excellent customer focus with a high sense of urgency. Ability to provide excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of hospital industry and human anatomy and/or medical device marketing experience preferred.

Education / Experience

  • Requires 4+ years of related experience in digital marketing and analytics with increasing level of responsibility.
  • Requires 2+ years of people management experience. 
  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Salary Range: $110,000- $140,000 DOE + potential annual bonus + comprehensive benefits package
