Job Summary
The Service & Cost Financial Analyst serves as a liaison between Finance and Service, Sales, Operations, and partners with business representatives at all levels of the company. This role reports to the Director, Finance with a strong dotted line to the Sr. Director, Service.
The Service & Cost Financial Analyst will manage projects related to Service financial reporting, create P&L’s by Service region/territory, and tracking margins on Service Contracts. In addition, he/she is also responsible for tracking and reconciling Demo inventory, Consignment inventory, and Leased inventory.
The Service & Cost Financial Analyst will assist with month end/period end reporting, developing annual budgets, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end/period end reporting, monthly forecasts, developing annual budgets, administering Service compensation.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis. Prepare and consolidate Service financial statements and provide summary report on performance of the Service organization on a monthly basis.
- Identify business requirements and develop, modify, maintain, and enhance reports for management as well as key performance indicators of the Company.
- Provide Revenue and Gross Margin analysis as required.
- Develop work plans, managing/meeting deadlines and coordination of projects team and sub-team activities with respect to SAP, Salesforce, and related software.
- Support the Business Planning and Budget cycle by providing tools to assist management in setting Revenue and Cost targets.
- Tracking and reconciling Demo inventory in the Field, Consignment inventory, and Leased inventory.
- Assist the Cost Accountant in Cost related projects.
- Assist with the coordination and the consolidation of department budgets.
- Meet aggressive deadlines with high quality results.
- Willing to share knowledge and instruct other members of the department and the company, by passing along skills and information to assist them in their development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Requires 3- 4 years of related experience and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with SAP or tier 1 ERP system required.
- Must have client-server concepts and working knowledge of relational Databases such as Microsoft SQL, SAP.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively use Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at advanced levels.
- Must be able to work independently: Business Analysis, Business Planning, Project Scoping, Design, Integration, and Implementation. As well as contribute to the team.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent customer focus with a high sense of urgency. Ability to provide excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.

Pay Scale: $112,000- $128,000 DOE + potential bonus + comprehensive benefits package
