Job Summary
The Help Desk Technician supports the organization in providing technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, and networked systems. This role ensures that installations, software, hardware, operating systems and configuration issues are properly addressed, monitored and resolved.
Responsibilities:
- This position will support the IT Operations Team by timely responding to IT helpdesk tickets and requests related to employee changes, such as onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Screens, refers, and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests related to maintenance of personal computers, laptops, and related systems.
- Prepares help desk incident reports and assists in hardware and software evaluation.
- May be internal and external client-focused for company-hosted web-enabled solutions.
- May manage and administer training programs designed to educate Mizuho’s computer users about basic computer use and specialized applications.
- Manage conference room support with calls, Polycom videos, projectors etc.
- Manage and troubleshoot wireless devices and in-house printer and copiers.
- Receive and ship packages – Laptops, iPads, iPhones. printers etc.
- Execute assigned tasks in Azure, Active Directory and on Devices.
- Office 365 Administration including managing user accounts, groups and policies, administering standard and shared Exchange mailboxes and distribution lists
- Laptop Lifecycle management
- Support the IT team in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of directly related experience.
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with increasing level of responsibility.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft SCCM, iPhone and Windows platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills.
- Sound judgement in making decisions.
- Ability to work independently and juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and dependability.

Salary range: $29.81 - $34.62 DOE + annual potential bonus + comprehensive benefits package
