Packer-Patient Kits 2

The Packer is responsible for packaging and labeling patient kits type products using some simple machinery by following Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs), prints, work orders and direction from the Supervisor.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Understand, support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements.
  2. Support company goals and objectives.
  3. Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).
  4. Package all products according to standards set forth in work orders appropriately.
  5. Remove all excess thread, clippings, etc., from products.
  6. Count and report finished counts on work orders.
  7. Perform other duties as required.

The duties of this job require the employee to stand and to use hands to manipulate very small objects and hand tools for long periods of time.  The employee is required to walk and occasionally to lift up to 45 pounds during the normal course of work. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Within the Production Floor the employee may be exposed to sharp objects, small tools, hot objects, adhesives, UV light, various testing equipment, isopropyl alcohol, soldering equipment,

 

hi-pot testers and other electrical test equipment, etc.   The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Must be able to follow work directions spoken and/or written in English.
  2. Able to follow direction and work well under supervision.

Salary:  $16.15ph - $19ph plus bonus
