Job Summary

The Sr. Employee Central (EC) Analyst is responsible for the optimization and ongoing support of the company’s Human Capital Management (HCM) ecosystem, with a primary focus on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. This role requires Employee Central certification and serves as a key subject matter expert (SME) in HR systems architecture, configuration, and process enhancement.

 

The Analyst will lead system initiatives, recommend improvements, and ensure our HR systems operate efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with business needs. As a core member of the HR Operations team, this role supports the strategic direction of HR technology and contributes to building a modern, data-driven HR function.

 

This position reports to the Head of Human Resources and will work closely with the broader HR, Recruiting, Finance and IT teams with the functional and technical skills to roll out sustainable/scalable solutions. The successful individual in this role will be expected to grow team expertise, work closely with a partner(s)/vendor(s) on solutions, and be an HRIS system go-to for collaboration and architecture guidance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects related to system upgrades, implementation, testing, and deployment activities to support and review and analysis of system requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Provide functional expertise and thought leadership regarding HRIS, as well as other HR systems and tools, supporting processes and reporting.
  • Act as a liaison between the HR team and key business partners including Finance, Payroll, IT, Internal Audit, etc. Build and cultivate stakeholder relationships with the ability to keep them engaged, responsible and dedicated in resolving a variety of HR systems issues and working toward deliverable goals and objectives.
  • Resolve complex data and business process issues which involves completing in depth analysis and evaluation of issues and researching and developing solutions for reconciliation. Independently determine the best method to approach researching and solving data and business process issues.
  • Consistently produce clear, concise and accurate reports.
  • Introduce innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to employees and contribute to change management and training efforts.
  • Serve as functional (SME) expert and provide support and coaching needs on system usage for both HR and cross-functional staff. Provide support as a subject matter expert (SME) for end-users and help troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Lead end-to-end configuration, testing, deployment for recurring programs (i.e., Benefits Open Enrollment, Annual Compensation Review, Annual Performance Review).
  • Develop and build reports, dashboards and document processes.
  • Proactively seek ways to automate, streamline, meet business needs, and address areas for improvement.
  • Provide training, demonstrations, and documentation to business stakeholders.
  • Perform quarterly audits of HRIS to ensure consistent and accurate data. Ensure policy and process changes are updated within reports and HR file feeds.
  • Communicate and build partnerships with vendor(s) to keep abreast of updates, issues, and case management.
  • Develop detailed requirements (business, user, process, functional).
  • Be forward-thinking in leveraging new features, functions, and product enhancements.
  • Build expertise among fellow team members and help grow internal team capabilities.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires 8-10 years of related experience with increasing level of responsibility in EC system management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Employee Central system management.
  • Minimum 8 years of configuration experience with SAP Employee Central and other modules such as onboarding and recruiting.
  • Experience with additional SAP SuccessFactors modules is a plus (Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance & Goals).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience migrating historical and current data sets into HRIS / HCM applications.
  • Project management and cross-functional team collaboration experience.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data structures, and HR operational workflows.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring team members to grow internal knowledge of HRIS applications.

Pay Scale: $114,000- $178,000 DOE + potential annual bonus + comprehensive benefits package
