Job Summary
This role manages full-cycle recruitment for diverse functions including manufacturing, engineering, light industrial, sales, professional, and administrative positions and ensures the delivery of top talent aligned with business needs. Responsible for the full range of Talent Acquisition activities for assigned groups, including branding/posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating recruiting processes. Also responsible for working with hiring managers for on-boarding programs for new team members. Interacts with hiring managers to identify and understand skills, education and experience required and preferred for positions at all levels. Effectively partners with hiring managers and interview teams while conducting proactive recruitment efforts to inform them of the progress throughout the hiring process cycle. Identifies appropriate sourcing methods ensuring compliance with the company’s hiring process in a consistent and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and lead full-cycle recruiting for multiple functions that includes but is not limited to the following: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and on-boarding for all assigned job openings.
- Regularly provide guidance and serve as a leader on recruitment related projects, programs.
- Source candidates using various methods such as job boards, social, and professional networking sites. Determine the best proactive sourcing methods and effectively use such methods to find the best possible candidates. Decide and document the best practices to find the best candidates for each of the functional areas within the best timelines that meet the business needs.
- Research and recommend alternative sourcing methods, including but not limited to career fairs, trade shows, and other potential sourcing events.
- Network through industry contacts, professional memberships, trade groups, and current team members to create a qualified passive candidate pool.
- Participate in the Company branding plan to ensure Company becomes an employer of choice.
- Review applicants to evaluate their qualifications and to determine whether their knowledge, skills and abilities are a positive match to the job requirements. Screen and interview qualified candidates to determine which candidates are recommended to the Hiring Manager for the next step of the recruiting process.
- Work with managers to create interview questions based on technical skills, behavior and culture fit related to Vision, Mission, and Values of the organization.
- Document and track interactions with prospective candidates within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain regular communication with the hiring managers regarding candidate submissions.
- Consult with managers regarding short and long-term recruitment plans to adequately ensure response to current and upcoming recruitment needs.
- Review the effectiveness of the recruiting plans and processes regularly and as necessary. Make recommendations to management to continually improve the plans and processes and train managers and team members on the recruiting processes.
- Act to strengthen and establish the Mizuho OSI brand to ensure all job postings positively and proactively represent the Vision, Mission, Values, and culture of the Company.
- Ensure the company’s hiring processes are followed in a consistent manner, are aligned with the Affirmative Action program guidelines and comply with employment law guidelines.
- Serve as an internal expert on all matters related to Talent Acquisition. Work with the Human Resources leaders to develop and implement the Talent Acquisition strategy.
- Monitor, create, and maintain appropriate documentation as it pertains to the hiring process to ensure compliance and consistency of hiring practices throughout the company.
- Generate, analyze, and present reports on hiring and sourcing to assess hiring practices as required.
- Build, continually improve, and lead a complete on-boarding and training program for new employees.
- Attend Human Resources meetings as requested by management. May also assist in other Human Resources initiatives and projects as requested and necessary.
- Understand, follow, and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Requires 2 to 5 years of directly related experience. Medical Devices or Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with increasing level of responsibility.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment utilizing innovative and proactive techniques to recruit a diverse range of positions and brand the organization in a competitive job market.
- Knowledge of Human Resource office practices and procedures.
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Ability to professionally communicate, both written and verbally in the English language. Ability to represent the Company in a positive and professional manner both via communication and presentation.
- Proven ability to assess knowledge, skills, and abilities to determine qualifications possessed by potential candidates and all job applicants. Ability to articulate position descriptions and candidate assessments.
- Strong track record of collaborative working relationships, which have led to successful business outcomes. Positive interpersonal skills including problem solving, influencing, organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of classified information at all times.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and multiple projects within a matrix and within deadlines.
- Ability to develop complex reports based on needs assessments and/or requirements definitions.
- Sound knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting hiring practices, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, and I-9 regulations. Familiarity with international hiring best practices preferred.

Pay Scale: $98,000 - $130,000 DOE + potential annual bonus + comprehensive benefits package
